When Bernard Gillard opened BG Cycles and Blades in 1994 he felt the most important aim was to give you the customer what you really want, namely expert service and advice with special attention to safety and value for money. So he made that his pledge.

Before starting BG Cycles, Bernard worked in various cycle shops and a national cycle store for more than 15 years. Paul, our manager, has worked for over 15 years in the cycle industry and was chosen especially for his commitment to customer care.

In 1997 BG Cycles and Blades expanded into inline skating providing clothing as well as blades and now has established itself as one of Edinburgh's leading inline skate shops.
